Let You Guide Me
came to fruition at the exposition of Leo De Beul’s paintings. He’s a painter and works for Peeping Tom as its oldest performer.

I starts out as a conventional museum-guide providing objective information while it slowly shifts towards something twisted with pauses that take way too long, a body that doesn’t always co-operate and stories/information about the paintings that seem out of place.

I let the space guide my body and interact with the reactions of the visitors, those reactions either being vocal or through body language.

It has since seen multiple variations and re-iterations in different settings:

- The solo was performed for Arte France as part of a documentary on the life of Marcel Marceau.
- An adaptation of the solo was performed on the Waking Life festival.
